I am going to experiment with detailed updates for a bit to see how it works with my page. Google requires tons of long posts to qualify for monetizing. They really don't care that I have fairly unique content that gets updated on almost a daily basis. Lots and lots of words spread across many pages is all that really matters to them. Not sure if this is even worth it, and I won't find out until I have blithered through about 50 pages of updates.
The fact is, I have been maintaining this list for almost 11 years and haven't received so much as a penny for my time and efforts. This list gets longer and continues to require more and more of my time. When it started I watched every single show on the list, but now with the list being over 185 shows, that is no longer possible or desirable. I currently watch about 35 shows on the list and plan to sample about 40 of the upcoming shows.
I'm really going to have to find some long-winded way to report every minor update I make to the list. Hopefully I won't bore people too much, not that it matters if people read these update pages, they just need to exist for Google's benefit. Though I do occasionally have interesting tidbits to pass along that don't fit well on the list, such as when a show premieres on a Sunday, but subsequent episodes will air on Mondays, or whatever. Occasionally shows get preempted by the news, sports, presidential speeches, etc.
I may also mention possible upcoming shows here that get put into development (which generally means someone is writing scripts and such) or get picked up for a pilot episode. I am currently tracking 200+ shows that are in development, most of which will never see the light of day. Maybe I will include a short list (maybe 10) of "in development" shows in each of my future update posts. I can include a short description of what sort of show it would be or what books it is based upon. I am sure some readers would find that at least moderately interesting and would also help me in keeping that list at least slightly up to date. The biggest problem with tracking shows in development is that the companies developing them almost never announce when they stop developing them.
Anyway, for todays minor update:
American Gods season has finished and will return sometime around next Winter.
The 100 season starts tomorrow and will run through about August.
Added Arthdal Chronicles (Netflix) Korean Fantasy Series.
